From Switzerland, through Europe to Asia and back: we make it possible. Our transports are monitored minute-by-minute via “tracking & tracing”, and any issues or obstacles are proactively resolved. We coordinate the loadings with you and your suppliers and actively keep all parties informed about the transport process.
Since the establishment of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI / “New Silk Road”), DB Cargo FLS is active in this segment. With a focus on container logistics, we offer regular rail departures between all major Chinese cities and Europe.
In 18 to 25 days, our trains run between China and Europe via Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus. You can order entire containers (FCL, 20′ / 40′ High Cube) or less-than-container loads (LCL). With containers we supply, we carry your goods door-to-door and ensure smooth execution as well as lawful customs clearance.
To reach Central Asia and Mongolia by container, there are several routes by rail — via the northern route or via the Black Sea and Turkey. These countries are often destinations for construction and infrastructure materials, which is why we also offer heavy-load and project transports to these regions. If needed, we can also deploy lorries.
Given the geopolitical situation, our new product “SeaRail” is a promising alternative to the conventional Silk Road. The ships call at only a few ports along the way, thus enabling fast lead times for sea freight between China and Europe.
In cooperation with selected partners and a large trans-Eurasian logistics network, you also have the option to make use of other transport modalities via road and aircraft through us.
