DB Cargo Switzerland strengthens DB Cargo's European network with its activities in the heart of Europe. As a subsidiary of Europe's largest rail freight company, we can draw on its resources. Our range of services also extends to an infinite international network of external partners and service providers to ensure that no transport gap is left open for full truck loads. 

In Switzerland, we operate with two business segments: The production company DB Cargo Switzerland, based in Glattbrugg/Zurich, and the sales and forwarding division DB Cargo FLS (Full Load Solutions), based in St. Margrethen. Our dedicated employees in these two divisions work hand in hand to provide transport solutions by rail that do not have to end at the station. The claim: as much road as necessary, as much rail as possible to enable more sustainable transportation compared to pure truck transport.

The production company DB Cargo Switzerland emerged in 2007 from Brunner Railway Services GmbH, which was founded in 2005. It is based in Glattbrugg in the canton of Zurich. This is where all runs and local deliveries are planned and managed with its own operations control center and specialist staff. The other locations are strategically positioned along the main transport axes: in Muttenz/Basel on the border with Germany and in the south in Bellinzona near the Gotthard Base Tunnel. The focus is on transalpine transit traffic and customer-specific concept traffic. 

The freight forwarding division DB Cargo FLS (Full Load Solutions) draws on 50 years of logistics expertise as an independent freight forwarding company. It has been active in Switzerland since 1972. Initially as part of Fertrans AG, later Schenker and now as TRANSA Spedition GmbH under the umbrella of DB Cargo FLS. Its strength lies in facilitating full truck loads of all kinds. Even general cargo can be transported to China. As the sales arm of the production company, the colleagues at FLS are the first point of contact for all DB Cargo Switzerland customers. With FLS forwarding expertise, the strong DB Cargo rail network behind it and an enormous network in the logistics industry, FLS designs the right solution for every transport requirement - from door to door if required.
